Who They Are

IncluEdu is a strategic alliance of esteemed European educators and researchers, possessing unique expertise in ICT and inclusive learning. Backed by EU project funding, IncluEdu has curated a series of competence-based courses that empower European educators to leverage tablets and mobile devices to engage and activate learners.

What I Did

My role as a WordPress developer entailed a comprehensive rebuild of the IncluEdu platform from the ground up, guided by their precise PSDs, InVision cues, and mockups. I initiated the process by creating a child theme for the Bridge parent theme, followed by utilizing Pods.io for custom post types and fields. This was then integrated with the Tribe Events Calendar for course scheduling. A noteworthy contribution was the development of a smart algorithm for the e-learning platform that enabled easy structuring of courses using b-trees for a given pattern. The platform supported numerous user roles, with members having varying levels of privileges for applying CRUD operations on custom post types. Furthermore, I facilitated the integration of BuddyPress for social activities.
