DA and PA checks

How to check DA and PA of a website

Start by checking the exact domain you want to benchmark. A useful DA and PA review should also include spam score and some competitive context, otherwise the number is easy to misread.

A practical workflow

First, enter the domain. Second, compare the score with direct competitors in the same niche and market. Third, look at the page-level score for the specific page you are trying to rank, not just the domain. Finally, decide whether the weak point is content depth, internal linking, or external authority.

This matters because a low score does not automatically mean you need link building. In many cases the real issue is that the page is too thin, the intent match is weak, or the site has split the topic across too many URLs.

What to do after checking the score

Use the result to prioritise. If the score is broadly competitive, focus on content quality and SERP CTR. If it is noticeably weaker, improve internal links, tighten supporting content clusters and evaluate whether your backlink profile actually deserves expansion.
